Bentley's First Tooth

After a long long wait, Miss Bentley's first tooth pushed through on Monday Feb 16th. She has been teething for what seems like forever. Riley had 4 teeth by her age. Crazy how different, yet alike they are.

Last night, I came to the conclusion that Miss Bentley has gotten too big for her infant tub. She loves to grab at my perfume and the electrical outlet, so she graduated last night. She loves her new tub and Riley loves the fact that she takes a bath now where he does. There are also some pictures of Bentley in her onesie that my good friend Robin gave to her...."I party naked." You gotta love that :)

Mr. Turtle's Weekend Stay

Mr. Turtle has made it through the weekend!

Well, Riley had the privilege of getting the class pet, Mr. Turtle, over the weekend. He was so excited, he could hardly contain himself. His father was disappointed to see that Mr. Turtle was full of stuffing as he thought he was real. Riley slept with him every night. We went to the park, Ryan and Terie's house, Cole's first birthday party, and he played with Riley and his cousins on Sunday. Riley is having a hard time leaving him at school this afternoon, but I am sure he will live!!

Well, we are officially and I mean officially in the "Why" phase with Riley. Just this morning between 8 and 9, this is what I heard...."Mommy, why Dora wear pink? Why Dora use map? Why Sadie and Dozer go outside? Why you tell me to get dressed? Why you drink coffee? Why Daddy at work? Why Bentley cannot eat poptarts?" And the list goes on.......Lord, please let this phase pass quickly.
